Non-traditional starts in our literally small kitchen. It’s tiny!! A former bar space for years, Executive Chef Will ”Andrew” has transformed a space that was designed for burgers and wings, and turned it into a premier kitchen. Delivering that should basically be impossible. But he does it. And boy does he!!
Andrew is an incredible chef. He’s also an athlete, a personal trainer, and a person driven by passion and extreme effort. In every aspect of his life, he recognizes effort trumps basically everything else. He researches extensively to deliver monthly specials that will make you want to try every single one. Constantly cutting edge, only the best food combinations will leave his kitchen.
Chef Andrew didn’t “grow up” necessarily wanting to run a Premier restaurant in the Finger Lakes. He is and always has been a sports guy. Playing. Watching. Training.
As we all do, he got a job at a young age. In a local restaurant. Starting at the humble bottom, the dish pit. Washing dishes. But he quickly mastered dish washing. Yes, that is possible. Then he began his climb to where he is now. Running the tiny Kitchen at KiX on Main. He measures his effort on a scale that would intimidate most people. He wants perfection. And pays the price of effort spent. Daily. Always improving. Always researching. To give you what you deserve. The best.
